José Trevejo MD, PhD is a physician-scientist and biotechnology executive who has led organizations in the development of high impact medicines spanning multiple therapeutic areas. Prior to Enveda he was the CMO of Tarsus Pharma where he helped lead the FDA approval and successful launch of a novel category-creating ophthalmology drug. Dr. Trevejo also served as CDO for Rocket Pharmaceuticals and CEO of the non-viral gene therapy company SmartPharm, which was acquired in 2020. Prior to SmartPharm, Jose held increasing roles of responsibility at Ironwood, Genentech and Vertex Pharmaceuticals. Jose Trevejo received his M.D. and Ph.D. at the Cornell-Rockefeller-Sloan Kettering Tri-Institutional M.D./Ph.D. Program and completed his residency and specialty training at Harvard Medical School affiliates BWH and BIDMC.

Charlene is a board-certified Toxicologist responsible for Non-Clinical safety, strategies and execution of IND- and NDA-enabling drug development programs for small molecules in topical, inflammatory, fibrotic, neurology and oncology indications, among others, for regulatory submissions to FDA/TGA/EMA. Charlene integrates her training as a chemist, molecular biologist and toxicologist to ensure safe and effective drugs and help usher Enveda’s promise to the patients. She is also a prolific writer/author of regulatory documents, book chapters and scientific publications. In her spare time, Charlene loves taekwondo, yoga, photography, cooking, watching movies and visiting with family and friends.

Soum brings nearly 10 years of experience across investment banking and strategy consulting. He worked at Goldman Sachs, where he advised management teams of health care companies on a range of strategic financial matters and executed financings and M&A transactions. At Enveda, he is leading corporate development. Outside of work, Soum is usually found hiking, camping, watching too many movies and TV shows, and cheering on Golden State.

Jason has extensive experience counseling early-stage, late-stage, and big pharma companies on technology law including intellectual property, and biotech and health tech business support. Jason is leading the development, management, and commercialization of Enveda’s intellectual property. During his free time, he enjoys cooking, playing squash, and spending time with his family.

Sotirios has a broad background in academic teaching and research, including major thought-leading academic medical centers, and in leadership positions at global pharmaceutical companies including Eli Lilly and AstraZeneca. As Chief Science Officer of Enveda, Sotirios focuses on the delivery of clinical and IND candidates in a range of diverse disease indications. Outside of work, Sotirios takes care of his son, who has autism; reads history; and learns about finance.

Robert believes people create all value. Creating fantastic candidate and employee experiences makes Enveda a place to do amazing work. Outside of Enveda, Robert enjoys reading, family time, and coaching soccer.

Marv has applied his expertise in synthetic chemistry across the drug discovery and development spectrum in both large pharma and biotech settings. At Enveda, he loves to find creative solutions to the challenges of drug discovery through the novel application of chemical technologies as evidenced by his publication and patent record. Playing bad golf, road cycling, and relaxing are his favorite past times.

Joe is a scientist, engineer, and entrepreneur. His passion for molecular biology, data science, and drug discovery helps drive innovation at Enveda. When he is not analyzing plant mass spectra, Joe is hiking or snowshoeing on the trails in Boulder with his family and his dog.

Hannah’s expertise encompasses disease biology and leveraging AI and ML technology to answer the right questions in drug discovery. Working with multiple cross-functional teams at Enveda, Hannah drives products to value inflection by deploying the right processes and infrastructure to balance the strengths across disciplines. Outside of her work at Enveda, Hannah enjoys spending time with her family, yoga, backcountry piloting, and exploring the beautiful mountains of Boulder.

At Enveda, Eswar is responsible for scaling and integrating the company’s operations in India. He was responsible for the build-out of the company’s new facility in Hyderabad. Earlier, Eswar worked with KPMG as a Management Consultant and is experienced in strategy and operations. He is a passionate photographer and loves traveling.

David combines training in laboratory and computational biology with experience in data science and applied machine learning research. Before joining Enveda, he helped build the computational biology, computational chemistry, and machine learning research programs at Recursion Pharma. David loves sailing and fly fishing.

Dan oversees Enveda’s operations and leads its new initiatives. He is a trained molecular biologist. Prior to joining Enveda, he was the founder and CEO of a synthetic biology company, which was acquired in 2019. Outside of Enveda, Dan enjoys spending time in nature and traveling with his family.

August has a background in biomedical engineering with a degree from Rochester Institute of Technology. He was an early employee of Recursion Pharmaceuticals, where he helped scale their high-content imaging platform by multiple orders of magnitude before joining Enveda in 2021. At Enveda, he is responsible for overseeing the company’s efforts to further scale and maximize its proprietary drug discovery platform. When not building tools to automate drug discovery, August enjoys playing soccer and spending time with his dog.

Viswa is the founder and CEO of Enveda Biosciences. He has led the company through successful fundraising rounds and the scale-up of its discovery platform, which is based on metabolomics and machine learning, to unearth new medicines from its first-of-a-kind chemical map of the natural world. Before founding Enveda, Viswa led multiple drug development efforts at Recursion Pharmaceuticals. He earned his Ph.D. in immuno-oncology at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, where he developed candidate therapeutics for prostate cancer. Outside of work, Viswa loves playing racquet sports of all kinds and trying to read about a dozen books in parallel.

PK is an expert medicinal chemist and discovery scientist with proven leadership skills. He has delivered 18 clinical candidates, 12 of which were advanced to Phase I and six to Phase II clinical trials, while serving as Director of Medicinal Chemistry at DuPont Pharmaceuticals Co. and Senior Research Fellow at Eli Lilly & Co., among others. He looks forward to making contributions to Enveda’s natural products-based pipeline as Senior Vice President, Discovery Chemistry. In his free time, he enjoys hiking, traveling, and spending time with his family.
